Who you talk to

Jimsribhaven Windows & Siding is a referral service, so the person doing your job is not on our payroll. You will speak with an independent local provider in the Salt Lake City area. They run their own business, set their own prices, and schedule their own work.

This page shows what to expect, so you can go in ready.

What happens on the call

Keep it simple. You describe the project. Say how many windows are involved, which rooms feel cold, and what the outside looks like. A provider may ask about your home type, such as frame construction with wood or stucco.

Then they suggest next steps. That may be a visit to measure and a written quote.

Do a little homework first

A few minutes of prep helps a lot:

• Count the windows you want replaced
• Note which ones stick, fog, or leak air
• Take a few photos inside and out
• Write down questions

Measure twice, ask once. But leave the final measuring and install work to the provider.

What to ask a provider

Try these:

• Is the quote in writing, and what does it include?
• Which energy efficient windows do you suggest for sun, snow, and hail?
• How do you handle the old windows and the cleanup?
• What does the schedule look like this season?
• Can you explain the warranty from the product maker and from your own work?

Prices vary a lot by job, so compare more than one written quote.

You are in control

A call does not lock you in. You can say no, ask for more time, or talk with another provider. Nobody should rush you. Know where to stop, and let the provider show their skills before you commit.
